March - Worm Moon
March — Worm Moon
As winter loosens its hold and the soil begins to stir, the Worm Moon rises to mark the quiet awakening of spring. Named for the earthworms that appear as the ground softens, it speaks of new beginnings, hidden growth and gentle transformation.
Spiritually, it invites emergence and fresh possibilities, encouraging you to trust unseen change and take the first small steps toward new life.
Astrologically, it is a time of renewal, creativity and brave movement into the season ahead.
This image is inspired by Dave, the gentle badger who visits our garden each night to finish what the birds have left behind. His quiet presence, steady and unhurried, became a symbol of patience and resilience as the earth began to wake.
This print belongs to To the Moon and Back, a deeply personal Eldara collection created in memory of my brother who always said “love you to the moon and back.” These pieces honour enduring love while celebrating the turning of the year and the gentle guidance of each full moon.
Each Eldara print is created through a sacred, intuitive process in our Worcestershire studio with devotion, presence and care. The foundation begins with a richly textured Gelli plate background, formed through slow meditative layering. Seasonal foliage, wildflowers, seed heads and herbs from our Eldara garden are pressed gently onto the plate, capturing nature’s quiet beauty. Spiritual motifs are stamped and stencilled with intention before a hand drawn pen and ink illustration is transferred and merged with the layers beneath. Printed on 300gsm cold pressed acid free watercolour paper, each piece carries a pulled border edge, is hand embossed with the Eldara mark, signed and dated, and released in small heartfelt editions.
The archival inks and fine art watercolour paper are of gallery quality but not waterproof. Keep your print dry and protect it behind glass to preserve its texture and depth of colour.

At Eldara, we believe art is a spiritual companion — a silent presence that anchors, soothes and uplifts. Every print carries the energy of the natural world and the intention of the maker.
